HDCC Candidate Highlight- Will Talbert

        Will Talbert will be running for the 39th House District, which covers Ray, Carroll, and Chariton counties. Within the lines of the newly drawn district, Will envisions many opportunities for advancement and development in the 2012 cycle.

        Born on March 24, 1966, Will Talbert saw education early on as an important base for betterment and advancement.  He studied at the University of Colorado at Boulder and earned his Bachelor in Arts in 1990 studying Political Science. After college he attended Graduate School where he received his Masters Degree in Agricultural Business from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1994. Mike currently lives in Lawson, Missouri with his wife Denise, son Jackson, and daughter Genevieve. 

        Will Talbert is a strong advocate for Missouri’s agriculture economy and realizes its potential for economic growth.  Currently raising cattle with his wife Denise in Ray County, he understands the hardships and rural traditions of Missouri’s agribusiness.  Talbert will be a strong independent voice and won’t let partisan politics get in the way of  standing up for the hardworking men and woman of Missouri.

        Will understands the importance of service in the Armed Forces, and as your state representative will promote veterans’ transition into civilian life, linking them with employers that can best utilize their skills and training.

        When not working Will spends time with his family and is an avid sportsman. He is a member of the National Rifle Association, enjoys fishing and hunting, and fully supports the rights of sportsmen in the State of Missouri.
